In fact, Mestre Pastinha is the creator of Capoeira Angola. Also, he is often called "The Capoeira Angola Guardian" for his work on protecting the traditional capoeira style from the changes introduced by Mestre Bimba and Capoeira Regional. Capoeira Angola has been preserved through the years and is practiced by many capoeiristas nowdays. We should be thankful to what Mestre Pastinha has started.
