The Capoeira-World.com Team is happy to announce its birthday and share some interesting facts from the inside with You - our valuable, loyal and beloved readers!

 

The Capoeira-World.com project was started at the end of 2009 with one aim - to gather all information about Capoeira and to make it available to everyone interested in it. Behind the project stand quite few people - Silvia Nikolova together with some friends sharing the same idea. Although this is not our regular job, we have put our hearts and efforts in this project through every passing day. We love Capoeira and we would do everything we can to spread it around the world and make it more and more popular.

Our Achievements

We are proud with each step ahead we made with the website no matter how small it is. Here are several things that we consider as our greatest achievements for the last 12 months:

1. 752 fans on the Capoeira-World.com FaceBook Fan page;
2. 152 Followers on the Capoeira-World.com Twitter page and 205 post on the network;
3. About 10 post in FaceBook and Twitter every week;
4. 3 videos uploaded on the Capoeira-World.com YouTube Channel;
5. Successful partnerships created with a few of the biggest capoeira shops - VirtualCapoeira.com, CapoeiraBroeken.nl, A.t. Zumba Bennenberg, and Capoeirashirts.com;
6. 156 videos uploaded on the Capoeira World Videos section with the total of 17032 views;
7. Over 70 pages with useful information for every capoeirista - history, ranks, moves, music, instruments, and many more;

The job done with Capoeira-World.com was not easy but we know that our efforts are worthwhile. For this, we will not take a break and will continue our everyday work on the project.

Our Future Goals

Here is a list of a few goals we've placed for the next several months:

1. Create a Capoeira-World.com Forum
We would like to create a community where You can talk with each other, share experience and ideas, give advices or just talk about capoeira.

 

2. Add a Capoeira Gallery

Soon You will be able to upload your own images to the website and reach even more poeple with them.

3. Add more capoeira clothes, accessories, instruments, and etc.
We want to offer You a great choice of items to expand your capoeira collection.  We strive to arrange discounts and notify You about any promotions are partners are running to provide the lowest prices on the Internet and save you money.

4. Get new interviews with capoeira teachers
The Capoeira-World.com team knows how important it is for You to learn from the masters in capoeira and follow their knowhow. For this, we are constantly contacting capoeira teachers from all over the world to present them to You and to provide You with interesting information they have to share with You. Expect 2 new interviews within the next few weeks and who the teachers are - We will keep that in a secret for now!

5. Capoeira Groups
Very soon You will be able to find all the Capoeira groups around the world in one place and learn how they appeared, where are their schools,  which mestres are their leaders and much more.

There are many more ideas that come to our minds and we are sure that we will realize them soon. Just stay in touch with us, support us and regularly check our website.

The Capoeira Videos Section already contains over 70 of the best capoeira videos uploaded online and the team of Capoeira-World.com promises there will be more to come. Also, they welcome new uploads from its users as well as feedback for the new design of the Video Section.
